Have you ever spent hours looking at greeting cards, looking for the one that would give just the right sentiment to the person you were sending it to? Or maybe the right hint at an inside joke between you and a friend or sibling?
Shutterfly has just made this something you can do from home!
They now have a greeting card line called Treat where you can create a completely personalized greeting card for that special someone!
I love the idea of not buying a box of generic cards that will be rotated over the next few years with others in my Christmas box until they are gone. Using Treat, I can create something unique and special and send it!
Can you tell I am giddy? Cause I am. My family is 2700 miles away, and I am loving playing with ideas for cards that will make them smile and know I really do think about them.
Want to get one for free? You can Monday, November 19th and Tuesday, November 20th by visiting their site and using the code TREATBLOGR when prompted for a code. This can be for anything, from Thanksgiving to a birthday, anniversary, or just because!
Oh, and they have an app so you can do this right from your smartphone while you are on the go!
I need to go back and play some more. Don't forget, use the code TREATBLOGR on 11/19 and 11/20 for a free card!
Go! Hurry!
This is a special promotion. I will be receiving compensation of a sort for this post, but that shouldn't stop you from using that code for a free card. I plan to!

Holiday Planning Has Begun!
The following is a sponsored post from Shutterfly. All opinions are my own. Would I still be ordering the cards from them without this? Yes!
My favorite time of the year is here.
Between now and then end of the year we'll be dressing James as a superhero, letting him taste his first real turkey, and then watching him tear open packages.
This won't be his first round of holidays, but they will be the first where he will have some awareness of what is happening.
Do you know what my favoritest part of all this is?
HOLIDAY CARDS!
I know I've written before about my love of the cards over at Shutterfly, and this has not changed. I've already scheduled our photo shoot at the mall in November, and I will be taking that and some other favorites I've captured throughout the year to make it ours.
This year, there are so many card options, and I went and played with them to get an idea of what will work best for us.

What do you think? A card with nothing but that face makes me squeal. Change one of those to a family shot of us, and I'd be happy. Not only that, but you can personalize them so that they are signed and you don't have to go through them to do that. And when you have over 50 to mail, that makes a whole world of difference to me.
I love the thought of one large picture and a simple greeting inside. Maybe in black and white. That would look amazing, with the colors in each corner and across the bottom.
Another favorite. I'd want to do the picture in black and white or maybe sepia so that the words stand out a little more. Wouldn't you love that face smiling at you??
This one I love for the simpleness. Nothing but that perfect picture and a border that, to me, looks very much like Christmas. What is it about red and green that makes you immediately go to that time of the year??
Seriously, there are so many different designs. From simple and classic, to even some religious themed options, Shutterfly is making it easy to pick a design that will fit your family. They also have some special offers here for you.
Now, if you've made it this far, I'm doing my first giveaway ever.
Leave me a comment telling me which card you like from Shutterfly's collection. Feel free to provide a link, though it's not required, and your email address. The contest will run until October 28th, and I will draw 1 random person on the 29th who will receive $50 off their total order (does not include shipping & cannot be combined with any other promos) from Shutterfly.
For an extra entry, Tweet about this giveaway with a link back to this entry and leave an additional comment with that link.
That's all!
So, please share which card would be yours and maybe you'll win and be able to make them this year!

Pictures, Pictures Everywhere!
You know what I love doing?
Looking at pictures of myself.
Before you think I am that into myself, I am talking about baby pictures. I love that I have my old albums and can compare picture of me, and my sister, to my son. My husband's family doesn't seem to have as many, and they did give me a small album with pictures of him, but there are gaps, and I feel some times as if part of the story is missing.
James is on his 3rd photo album. The pictures start with all his ultrasound photos, and there are a LOT thanks to the weekly appointments we were having. They are right up until his first time in the pool a few weeks ago. This weekend, we'll be spending time with family, and I'll keep right on clicking away.
Where is this headed?
My choice for photo printing, both individual pictures and photo albums and even large prints and magnets, is Shutterfly. I love getting that orange envelope in the mail, and going through them. Looking at the picture on the computer is one thing, but holding them in my hands is just the greatest thing.
This Summer, Shutterfly is having their Long Live Summer Photo Contest. Each week, they will have a different theme, and all you have to do to enter is upload a picture and caption. There are instant win prizes just for entering (1 entry per week per contestant), a weekly winner each of the 5 weeks with a $500 Shutterfly gift card up for grabs, and the grand prize includes an amazing trip that includes a professional photo shoot so you'll have those memories forever.
I will be entering!
The contest started July 9th and runs through August 12th. Check out the details and themes on their Facebook page and then start sharing your pictures and memories!
This is a promotional post sponsored by Shutterfly. I do use their services for all my photo needs, love their coupons and discounts, and will continue to use them even if they didn't contact me for this. It just doesn't hurt that I will be getting compensated for sharing my love of their service!
